I am the firm’s ACA Trainee Counsellor, supporting the ACA trainees as they progress through the firm and helping with recruitment of new graduates.  My day to day role consists of producing year end accounts for clients, preparing consolidated management accounts and reviewing accounts and other work prepared by members of the team.

I have a special interest in computer based accounting software and cloud based systems and have helped the firm assess and adopt new software. I enjoy using these skills to assist clients in software migrations and training on new systems.

Outside of work I try to do my part for charity. I love nature and wildlife and at weekends I do voluntary conservation work for the RSPB at Budby South Forest Nature Reserve, which is the largest area of historic heathland in the Midlands. In the past I have run various 10Ks and half marathons (including the Humber Bridge Half Marathon, the North Lincolnshire Half, the Lincoln Half Marathon and the Lincoln 10K) dressed in 18kg of Viking chainmail to raise money and awareness for mind, Dementia UK, Save the Children and The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.
